Following the Trump Administration's imposition of anti-market tariffs on Canada, Canadian Prime Minister spoke directly to the American people. A portion of his full remarks appears below:

Trudeau speaks to Americans, understandably and sensibly, the way former American leaders once spoke to oppressed peoples abroad.

There is no portion of libertarianism, not the least of it being a commitment to free markets for a common prosperity of all, in Trumpism.
